Hello! My name is Laura Bohigas and I am very excited to be part of this incredible Virtual Academy as a first grade teacher. I am looking forward to teaching virtually because it allows me to have close relationships with my students, and they can learn at their own pace using the strategies that best fit them. 

I’ve been a Kindergarten and first grade teacher at 香港六合彩直播 for 20 years. My expertise is early literacy and I know how to help my students become proficient readers and writers.

I spent my last 9 years working in the Spanish/English Dual Language Immersion program at Washington Elementary where in addition to early literacy, I taught second language acquisition. I was also the technology lead teacher and a mentor for new teachers in the induction program.

I am originally from Barcelona and graduated from the University of Barcelona in 1997. I can speak fluent Spanish and Catalan as well as the basics of four other languages.

My passions include traveling and spending time in nature with my dog Rudy.

I feel honored to be part of the Vista Virtual Academy community. I am very excited to take on this amazing opportunity to keep growing as an educator. I am looking forward to meeting all the families and working with all the students and staff.
